Youth78
Youth78 is Valley Church's youth ministry and is open for all young people from year 7 through to year 13.
Our Vision
Valley Church has a vision to create a home to empower a new generation, which is exactly what Y78 is all about.
In Y78 we see a generation set apart; a generation whose identity is defined by who God says they are. We see young people who know the nature and word of God and live like they have been called to something beyond themselves. We see a generation walking into their future empowered to discover and use their God-given gifts.
We dream big, never small! We want to see hundreds of young people confidently standing up for their faith and choosing to live a life against the grain. We want to see hundreds of young people gathering to lift God’s name and to proclaim His goodness as they see lives transform before their very eyes.
Our Groups
We are 2 groups, united in vision and purpose, and each with a unique focus:
Awake (years 7-9) who we pray will be spiritually awakened to the incredible love of God.
Arise (years 10-13) who we pray will emerge bold, fearless and transformed by God's astounding love.
Friday nights!
Valley Church, Bamber Bridge (our South Preston location)
It’s our main thing! The purpose of Friday nights is to gather to encounter God.
Arise meet every Friday at 7:45pm - 10pm
Come join us for worship, games and teaching. We’ll always have table tennis, pool, darts and football cage ready to go!
Subs are £2 per person.
Awake meet throughout the month - Please get in touch with Tabs Halliwell to request upcoming Awake Friday Night dates and information.
Parents and carers - we are committed to ensuring a safe environment and will require a consent form to be filled in for every young person who attends Friday nights.

Discipleship Groups
Our groups meet on a regular basis at various times in the week:
- Awake (years 7-9) meet each Sunday across locations at our service for games and a Bible study
- Arise (years 10-13) meet fortnightly on Tuesday 7:30pm - 9pm at Valley church - get in touch for more details!
