Wednesday night was truly a memorable one, thank you for everyone who took the time to be with us at Valley Women!
There is always at least one moment before each Valley Women when I look around and wonder how it is possible to transform the place in the time we have, and if it is even possible!!! The team of people involved, both those on team and those who help are incredible and work so hard to put together what you see when you arrive. Their hearts are to bless your socks off and give you an evening where you can enjoy being spoiled and just a little pampered. A massive thank you for all who helped!! You are awesome!
For those of you who missed out on last night here’s a little flavour of what happened…
The team had decked out the offices with more bunting than I have ever seen in one place; we were treated to a great fish and chip supper in ‘newspaper’ cones; cup cakes and drinks in ‘Union Jack’ decorated cups; ‘All The Single Ladies’ performed incredibly by our very talented girls in their prom dresses (check out the picture below!); and a fantastic Royal Wedding Quiz followed… did you know the wedding cake for Queen Elizabeth was 9ft high? And that Catherine and William are in fact 16th cousins…? If you want more trivia then speak to the winner, Rosie Carter, she knows it all!!
Ps Ed gave a challenging message about finding contentment in life whatever our situation and we finished off with a Q&A time, answering some real life questions about relationships. We didn’t get time to answer them all and will keep answering them over the next few weeks here on The Latest. If the Q&A time threw up more questions for you, then why not talk to your connect group leader.
