Coronavirus Update — Tuesday 17th March

Hi Church,
The Church of Jesus Christ has never been restricted by four walls. The Church is the people, and wherever we are, we are the Church. And now, perhaps more than ever, we have the opportunity to respond to fear, confusion and uncertainty with faith; with power, love and sound judgement (2 Tim 1:7).
Today is the first day that our nation is applying stricter measures in terms of self-isolation and implementing restrictions on social gatherings. As a church, we are committed to following the advice and guidance of the government and the NHS in these matters, and so with immediate effect, all of our usual weekend services will be moving online. You will be able to watch at 10:30, 16:30 & 18:45 at valleychurch.eu, and clicking the “Live Stream” button at the top. We are blessed to still have Pastor Mark Ritchie speaking over the stream for us this weekend!
Our Senior Pastors, along with the various boards that provide oversight and governance to our church are working hard with all our ministries and departments to ensure that we maximise the opportunities this season provides for us all to press in to God, to step out and believe Him to use us in new and powerful ways, and to see people connected to the love of Jesus Christ, and His plan for their lives.
More information will be announced by the end of the day on Thursday 19th March, including a whole load of ways in which you can stay connected to community during these new government measures.
In the meantime, do everything you can to connect with others! If you’re not following our church accounts on social media (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) that’s a great way to stay encouraged, stay informed and to join or start a conversation.
