Is your bike gathering dust? Can you donate it for our Big Give this Christmas time?
Hey everyone,
We are again running the Big Give this Christmas and a massive thanks for being involved. We cannot wait to hear your stories. Over the last few years we have been privileged to be able to spread the love of God over the Christmas season in many different ways and this year is no different.
However this year we have a super practical way you can be involved... One of our Big Give nominees is involved in renovating bikes for children and young people. It started when he donated his son’s old bike through a head teacher to a boy who had been struggling to get to school and it has gone on from there, with social workers and the Council getting in touch to see if he and his friends can help.
So as part of the Big Give we would love to get hold of 5-6 preloved mountain bikes suitable for teenage boys that we can pass on. If you have one that is suitable or perhaps know of one collecting dust in your garage that with a little tlc could help a young person get to school then please send photos in ASAP (by Sunday 28th November at the latest) via email to [email protected] and we will get in touch with you. We already know of boys waiting for these bikes.
