Valley Church Cafe Project
Expanding our home, serving our community
Valley Church exists to create a home to empower a new generation, a home that loves and empowers the community.
And we are called as the people of Jesus to share the Good News and compassion of God to the world we live in. In 2017, we are inviting you to partner with us to help make this happen in new and exciting ways.
We believe everyone can do something to help see this vision become a reality. There are so many ways in which you can partner with us in this project, in order to allow us to continue building a great community so we, as a church, can serve our wider community in Bamber Bridge, Preston, and Beyond.
Our new 120 seat café will cost approx £250,000 to build and furnish. We are already well on the way to financing the build, but there is still more to go. We are looking to raise a further £120,000 this year. No donation is insignificant, and we’re asking everyone to consider how you could partner with us in this endeavour.
How can I get involved?
Building Fund Day
21st May 2017: You can give cash on the day, commit to give over a number of months, or arrange to personally loan money to Valley Church.
Sponsor a Seat
If you’re not sure how much to give, £1000 will sponsor a seat in our 120 seat cafe. Every seat represents a life potentially impacted by the ministry of our church through this cafe project. If you can give or pledge £1000, it will only take 120 people to make this vision a reality.
For those called to seriously invest financially in the Kingdom – above and beyond the tithe – we call you to consider becoming a Kingdom Builder. To become a Kingdom Builder, you will give, above regular giving, at least a further £3,000 for each year you would like to participate. Becoming a Kingdom Builder releases business people, and others who are able, to really invest in the Kingdom through a ministry and gift of generosity. You will be invited to key events throughout the year with our Senior Team.
You can loan Valley Church an amount to go towards the building of the cafe, at an agreed interest rate and term. To do this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will set up individual meetings to discuss this with you.
