North Preston

North Preston is our most recently planted location, a growing community of faith-filled believers!

In 2020, already well established in South Preston and Lancaster, Valley Church launched a service in North Preston. Since then, we’ve seen people put their trust in Jesus and the Church grow. We have a huge heart for this rapidly growing part of Preston and are expectant for what’s ahead. We believe Church should be a home for everyone no matter who they are or where they've come from and we can’t wait for you to join us! 

Our service is great for the whole family! There are kids and youth programmes running alongside the main service which features teaching, worship and a fun space for all generations to encounter Jesus. After the service, we’d love you to stick around to say hello and enjoy a free barista-crafted coffee or tea. We’d love to welcome you and your family & friends.

Your Service Leaders

  • Kat and Dave Parkinson are the Service Leaders at North Preston. Married with three children, they are passionate about sharing their faith in Jesus, both in church and in everyday life. Kat works as a teacher, while Dave runs a family business. They lead the church alongside their close friends, Sarah and Rob Yates, who share their passion for faith and have four children of their own. Together, both families are committed to making Jesus known in their community.

  • We believe in excellence and fun! So our Sunday services are crafted to help you feel at home, encounter God and receive biblical teaching full of wisdom and truth. You can also expect passionate worship, laughter and community too!

    Our services run for 1hr 30 mins including a 30 min message. A full kids programme runs alongside the service.

  • We don't have a dress code!

    You're welcome to come to church comfy and casual, or to wear your Sunday best, we don't mind.

  • Yes! We have on-site accessible parking, our auditorium is on the ground floor with no steps and we have accessible toilets available.

  • Every Sunday our amazing Kids Team run a full programme alongside the service. This takes place in a separate room in the same building. Check out our Kids Ministry Page for more info.

    All you need to do on the day is register your child at the sign in desk (look out for the purple Kids banner).

  • Expect a warm welcome - you'll usually see our Service Team members first (they're the ones in red!) and they're always ready to say 'hi' and help you find your way around.

    Services start promptly, so we recommend you arrive 5-10 minutes early to find your seat and get settled. They last around 90 minutes (we rarely run over) and we always make time for good quality coffee afterwards!

    Our services can be a little on the loud side (don't worry, we do monitor sound levels for safety and comfort), so if you're sensitive to noise you might want to bring some headphones or earplugs.
