We believe we have been given one of the greatest privileges possible in being able to teach, disciple and encourage Kids to discover who Jesus is and why He’s amazing!
At Valley Kids we work hard to ensure that your children will be welcomed, supported and taught great Biblical principles... all through an amazingly epic Kids programme! We have lively games, even livelier worship, relevant Bible teaching and create amazing crafts... all in under an hour and a half!
We split down into 3 ages groups; Pebbles, Rocks and Mountains. Check them out below!
Pebbles (1 and walking – 3yrs)
In ‘Pebbles’ we enjoy creative play, messy craft and Bible songs! We might use bubble machines, fancy lighting or have a go at playing instruments… but whatever we’re doing we’re having fun!
In ‘Rocks’ kids will have fun learning about God with engaging Bible stories, cool crafts and plenty of time to be creative.
In ‘Mountains’ kwe play crazy games, enjoy more in-depth Bible teaching and explore how it links to everyday life.
All of the above are fun and action-packed, supervised environments with a mixture of team games and activities. All children are signed in and out and all leaders and staff involved are police checked. Please let us know about any allergies and other information we might need to know prior to dropping your children off.
The parent-baby area is located within Valley Coffee at Valley Church Preston with a live video link into the auditorium so nobody has to miss a thing. Designed by parents with young children, we have tailored the area to suit the needs you may have as a parent. We provide the following basic facilities in a clean and bright environment which is available before, during and after the service: age appropriate toys, play mats, a changing mat, a high chair and a TV with link into the main auditorium. This is a great place to chat with other parents, and you can still be in church!
What about COVID measures?
As of the 19th July, many COVID regulations were lifted or changed. However, we are still observing a number of practices to remain COVID-secure and vigilant. These include higher standards of cleaning, especially of surfaces that come into regular contact with people; ensuring adequate ventilation and good air circulation throughout the building; providing additional seating so that visitors may save extra seats around themselves, creating space between themselves and other visitors; ensuring that staff or visitors who are unwell do not attend; communicating the above clearly to our staff, volunteers, and visitors.
What do parents say about Valley Kids?
"The main reason we chose to come to Valley was so that our son would grow up in a church environment where he would thrive and would love going to church. Because of Valley Kids, that is exactly what's happened. The kids' leaders invest so much time and energy into our children. My son found it hard to settle into the kids programme at first, but with lots of reassurance and patience, he really started to enjoy it. Now he can't wait to go into Valley Kids each week! He loves the kids' leaders because they really make a fuss of him, whether it's in the programme or not, they are always consistent in acknowledging him and making him feel special. The Valley Kids programme has had such a positive impact on my son's life and on us as a family. It's so reassuring to know that whilst we are in the service, our little boy is having just as great a time as we are! Thank you kids team!"

"Our children absolutely love being in the kids programme on a Sunday. It is the highlight of their week and they can't wait to be in church. It has been amazing to see how they have both grown in knowledge and faith."

"Valley Kids is ace! From the first day we visited Valley, my children have loved it. It provides them with a great example of what church should be; welcoming, inclusive, challenging, supportive and fun! Most importantly, it introduces them to Jesus. I've always found it well organised, with dedicated and passionate kids' leaders, creating a safe environment where the kids can have fun, make friends and learn more about God."
