Welcome to the safeguarding training for Valley Church and Valley Centre Developments Ltd. We thank you for taking the time and commitment to access and complete this training.

The session is in three parts, with a follow-up task to complete to receive confirmation and a completion certificate for attending the course.
Part 1 - Culture and Context of Safeguarding at Valley
Part 2 - Level 1 Safeguard Training
Part 3 - Applying Valley’s Safeguarding practices in your role
Final task - Quiz and Sign off from your Team Leader or Line Manager
Before you start:
Ensure you can play the video linked below.
Download a copy of the Handbook that works alongside the training video. SAVE a copy on your device or PRINT it out.
Play the video and pause it at key points to help you complete any suggested activities.
You will need to follow the activities and make notes as you work through the three sections. Some people would be happy to type directly into the document, while others prefer to handwrite on the paper version.
You can work through this on your own, or team leaders may use the video and Handouts to guide you through the session as a group.
