In 2017 our Senior Pastors released a team to start Valley Lancaster in the hope that a church would rise up and become an integral part of its community!

Since then we have seen people of every generation come and put their trust in Jesus, become a part of a church family, find purpose in serving and see God move in their lives.

Whether you’re exploring faith, questioning whether there’s more, wanting to connect with other Christians, or simply looking for a place to call home, we would love you to join us.

  • As well as being the Senior Pastors for the whole of Valley Church, Ed and Michele lead our Lancaster service!

    They love discipling and equipping people and seeing people grow in their God- given gifts.

  • We believe in excellence and fun! So our Sunday services are crafted to help you feel at home, encounter God and receive biblical teaching full of wisdom and truth. You can also expect passionate worship, laughter and community too!

    Our services run for 1hr 30 mins including a 30 min message. A full kids programme runs alongside the service.

  • We don't have a dress code!

    You're welcome to come to church comfy and casual, or to wear your Sunday best, we don't mind.

  • Yes! We have access ramps into the building, accessible parking, and accessible toilets available.

  • Every Sunday our amazing Kids Team run a full programme alongside the service. This takes place in a separate room in the same building. Check out our Kids Ministry Page for more info.

    All you need to do on the day is register your child at the sign in desk (look out for the purple Kids banner).

    For parents with smaller children and babies we have a parenting area towards the back of the room with toys and other supplies.

  • Expect a warm welcome - you'll usually see our Service Team members first (they're the ones in red!) and they're always ready to say 'hi' and help you find your way around.

    Services start promptly, so we recommend you arrive 5-10 minutes early to find your seat and get settled. They last around 90 minutes (we rarely run over) and we always make time for good quality coffee afterwards!

    Our services can be a little on the loud side (don't worry, we do monitor sound levels for safety and comfort), so if you're sensitive to noise you might want to bring some headphones or earplugs.
