People Matter

People Matter is run by Valley Church to help support those in need from our local community and further afield.

We believe that all people matter and that the Church can and should make a real difference for the better in the lives of everyone regardless of who they are, what they've done, or where they’re from. Valley Church is always looking for ways to put people back on their feet, and to empower them to discover purpose, hope, love and community like they have never known before.

Every year many people have been blessed by our People Matter ministry, but we always have a heart to reach more! If you would like to give into this ministry and enable Valley Church to build into more lives, you can give online.

For more information please get in touch by emailing [email protected].

Local initiatives

Coronavirus has affected many of our lives and as a church we want to do our best to support those affected the most.

Within church we already have people offering help to the vulnerable through organisations like Age Concern and others with shopping, befriending over the phone and online, dropping off emergency supplies and posting mail.

We also have a team of people sewing,  making fabric face masks to raise money for our People Matter ministry. These are currently being sold in local GP surgeries and at Valley Coffee.

All money raised is going to help those on the front line, and those in need locally and through our partners working amongst the most vulnerable in Brazil, India and worldwide through our partners, Compassion, Vision Rescue and Hope for Justice.

We would love to hear from you if you want to get involved (we can supply materials and help you get started).

To get in touch please email us at [email protected] or send us a message on Instagram or Facebook. You can also check out our Facebook page Valley Church People Matter - DIY Face Mask and Ear Savers.
